GENERAL INFORMATION

Welcome to the AMAC VOLLEYBALL Barcelona 2011Tournament blog !
ASB is hosting this international tournament from November 16th until November 20th 2011.
This year, we have 6 teams (Girls Tournament) and 4 teams (Boys tournament) from different countries in Europe and Africa. The Carlucci American International School of Lisbon (Portugal), Rabat American School (Morocco), American Cooperative School of Tunis (Tunisia), The International School of Geneva (Switzerland) and the Amman Baccalaureate School (Jordan) together with the hosting American School of Barcelona (Spain).
After arriving to Barcelona on Wednesday November the 16th all teams will meet their host families from ASB and get ready for the tournament. On Thursday, November 17th they will participate on the Opening Ceremony at the COMPLEX ESPORTIU LA BONAIGUA in Sant Just Desvern. Then teams will move to the Tournament courts. The tournament will have 2 courts, one for the girls and one for the boys. Girls will be playing to the best of 3 sets. Boys will be playing to the best of 5 sets. We hope all teams had a safe and good trip to our city and we wish them all the best.
